Where a report has the number format MAIU_XXXXX, this report has been published by the Marine Accident Investigation Unit.
There are a number of reports of investigations that were commenced by the MCIB under the applicable legislation in force at that time, that will be completed and published by the MAIU. These reports will have the MAIU number format but will have explanatory text in the preamble.
